At 12:45pm on Monday, 4 September, we received reports of a fire on Holmes Crescent in Wokingham.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Newbury, Bracknell and Whitley Wood fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a tumble dryer on fire. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used one hose reel to extinguish the fire.
Crews were at the scene for approximately 42 minutes.
