At 12:59pm on Thursday, 8 May, we received reports of a fire on Jasmine Square in Woodley.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham Road, Wokingham and Whitley Wood fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside one Officer.
Upon arrival, crews found an external fire affecting the ground floor of the property. Two firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used one hose reel to put out the fire, before using a ventilation fan to clear the smoke from the property and placing two people in the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
They were on scene for approximately one hour and 52 minutes.
