At 3:29pm on Friday, 9 May, we received reports of a fire on Wright Close in Woodley.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham Road, Whitley Wood and Wokingham fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside one Officer.
Upon arrival, crews found a fire that started in the living room of the property. Eight firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets to put out the fire, before using a ventilation fan to clear the smoke from the property.
They were on scene for approximately two hours and 11 minutes.
