At 5:31am on Thursday, 2 April, we received reports of a fire on Eton Wick Road near Eton.
Firefighters from Slough and Langley fire stations were sent to the scene alongside an aerial ladder platform from Whitley Wood Fire Station.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a loft fire caused by a lightning strike. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
Crews were at the scene for approximately one hour and 55 minutes.
