At 7:09am on Wednesday, 29 March, we received reports on an incident on a rail line near Maidenhead Train Station.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Slough, Maidenhead and Windsor fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews discovered an electrical fire alongside the railway. Using a dry powder hose reel, firefighters extinguished the fire.
Crews were on the scene for approximately six hours and 50 minutes.
