At 12:35pm on Monday, 3 July, we received reports of a diesel leak at a commercial premise at the Oracle Shopping Centre in Reading.
A Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Wokingham Road Fire Station and one Officer were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival firefighters found a diesel leak affecting electrical switch gear. The building was evacuated and safety cordons were put in place, before the incident was handed over to the responsible person and the Electricity Board.
The crew was on scene for almost two hours.
