At 4:05pm on Wednesday, 13 April, we received reports of a fire affecting an outbuilding on Hagley Road, Reading.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Caversham Road, Wokingham Road, Whitley Wood and Wokingham Fire Stations were sent to the scene, alongside one RBFRS Officer.
Upon arrival, crews found a fire affecting a garage.
Firefighters extinguished the fire using a hose reel and treated two casualties for burns before placing them in the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
Crews were on the scene for approximately four hours and 7 minutes, before returning for a re-inspection. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
