At 3:26pm on Sunday, 23 August, we received reports of a fire on St George’s Avenue in Newbury.
A Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Newbury Fire Station was sent to the scene.
On arrival, the crew discovered a small garden fire that was out on arrival. Firefighters used one hose reel to damp the scene down and conducted a Safe and Well visit.
The crew was at the scene for approximately 15 minutes.
