At 1:11pm on Saturday, 18 July, we received reports of a fire in the open on Milman Road in Reading.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Hungerford, Caversham Road and Theale fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews found one shed on fire that had spread to bushes and trees. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one hose reel to put out the fire.
They were on scene for approximately 56 minutes.
Later at 1:24pm on Saturday, 18 July, we received reports of a fire on Milman Road in Reading.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham Road, Theale and Caversham Road fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside the Aerial Ladder Platform from Whitley Wood Fire Station.
Upon arrival, crews found a roof fire caused by embers from the neighbouring property. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reels and one main jet to put out the fire, before removing unsafe portions of the roof to make the scene safe.
They were on scene for approximately one hour and 34 minutes.
