At 8:51am on Saturday, 10 October, we received reports of an incident on High Street in Windsor.
One Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Slough Fire Station was sent to the scene, alongside one Officer.
Upon arrival, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus found a gas leak coming from an air conditioning unit in the basement of the premises. The crew helped to evacuate the premises, before cordoning it off at basement and street level, and arranging for an air conditioning engineer to attend the premises. The incident was then handed over to the manager of the premises.
The crew was on scene for approximately one hour and 58 minutes.
