At 2:55pm on Saturday, 1 August, we received reports of a fire on Tithebarn Grove in Calcot.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham Road and Theale fire stations were sent to the scene alongside an Officer.

On arrival, crews discovered a small kitchen fire. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used one CO2 fire extinguisher to put the fire out before venting smoke from the property with a fan.

Crews were at the scene for approximately 30 minutes.
