At 11:35am on Monday, 6 April, we received reports of a fire on Gosbrook Road in Caversham.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Caversham Road. Whitley Wood and Theale fire stations were sent to the scene alongside an Officer.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a small domestic kitchen fire. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used one hose reel to extinguish the fire before ventilating smoke from the property with a fan.
Crews were at the scene for approximately 30 minutes.
