At 5:54pm on Wednesday, 25 June, we received reports of a fire on Broadmark Road in Slough.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Langley, Slough and Maidenhead fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews found a fire in the kitchen of the property. Four firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used one hose reel and one CO2 extinguisher to put out the fire, before using a ventilation fan to clear the smoke from the property and make the scene safe. One person received immediate emergency care and was placed in the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
They were on scene for approximately one hour and two minutes.
