At 5:52am on Saturday, 18 April, we received reports of a fire on College Avenue in Slough.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Slough and Langley fire stations were sent to the scene.

On arrival, crews discovered a small kitchen fire. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used one hose reel to extinguish the fire. Crews then provided a Safe and Well visit to the residents.

Crews were at the scene for approximately 30 minutes.
