Fire on Mirador Crescent, Slough

At 5.08pm on Wednesday, 22 May, we received reports of a fire on Mirador Crescent, Slough.

Two Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Slough and one crew from Langley Fire Station were sent to the scene, together with a crew from Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service and two Officers. The Aerial Ladder Platform from Whitley Wood Fire Station was also sent to the scene.

Upon arrival, crews found a fire in the bedroom and roof of a two-storey domestic property. At the height of the fire, six firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reels and one covering jet to extinguish the fire.

Crews were on the scene for about three hours and five minutes.
