At 11:35pm on Monday, 8 June, we received reports of an alarm sounding in a residential building on Buckingham Gardens in Slough.
Two Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Slough Fire Station and crews from Langley and Maidenhead fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews found a microwave fire out on arrival, with the flat’s sprinklers activated. Crews ensured the scene was safe, before turning off the sprinklers and giving advice to the occupants of the flats that were affected by the water.
They were on scene for approximately one hour and 18 minutes.
