At 4:59pm on Sunday, 16 August, we received reports of a fire near Shifford Crescent in Maidenhead.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Maidenhead and Slough fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside one crew from Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service.

Upon arrival, crews found a smell of burning coming from the fuseboard. Firefighters made the house safe before giving safety advice to the homeowners.

They were on scene for approximately 25 minutes.
