Fire at a residential property in Maidenhead

At 9:31pm on Friday, 10 February, we received reports of a fire at a residential property on St Mark’s Road, Maidenhead.

Two Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Slough Fire Station and a crew from Windsor, Langley, and Maidenhead fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside the Incident Command Unit from Maidenhead Fire Station, the Aerial Ladder Platform from Whitley Wood Fire Station and two RBFRS Officers. Crews were also supported by Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service.

Upon arrival, crews found a fire affecting the first floor and loft area of the property.

Eight firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using four hose reels, before damping down to ensure the fire was fully extinguished.

Crews were on the scene for approximately three hours and 35 minutes.
