At 10:31pm on Sunday, 12 February, we received reports of a fire at a residential property on Burghfield Common, Reading.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Mortimer, Whitley Wood, and Theale fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews found a fire affecting the first-floor bedroom of the property.
Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using a hose reel and a co2 extinguisher.
Crews were on the scene for approximately 27 minutes.
