At 12:23am on Friday, 11 August, we received a call from South Central Ambulance Service to reports of a road traffic collision on the A33 (Swallowfield Bypass).
Crews from Whitley Wood, Mortimer and Caversham Road Fire Station were sent to the scene, alongside an Officer.
Crews released one person from a vehicle using cutting gear and one person was released upon arrival. They placed both casualties into the care of South Central Ambulance Service. Firefighters were on the scene for just over an hour.
