At 5:13pm on Wednesday, 9 September, we received reports of a road traffic collision on Swinley Road in Ascot.

One Officer from Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service and the Heavy Rescue Unit from Theale Community Fire Station was sent to the scene, alongside two crews from Surrey Fire and Rescue Service.

Upon arrival, crews found a collision involving one car. Crews rescued one person from the vehicle, before placing them in the care of South Central Ambulance Service and handing the scene over to Thames Valley Police.

Crews were on scene for approximately one hour.
