At 3:09pm on Thursday, 30 April, we received a call from Thames Valley Police to reports of a road traffic collision on Chalfont Way in Earley.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Whitley Wood and Caversham Road fire stations were sent to the scene.

Upon arrival, crews found a collision involving one car on its side. Crews made the scene safe and gave two people immediate emergency care, before placing them both in the care of South Central Ambulance Service.

Crews were on scene for approximately 35 minutes.
