At 3:23pm on Friday, 1 May, we received reports of a road traffic collision on Purley Rise in Purley on Thames.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham and Whitley Wood fire stations were sent to the scene alongside an Officer and a crew from Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service.

Upon arrival, crews discovered a collision involving two vehicles. Firefighters rescued one person from a vehicle before placing them, alongside another person, in the care of South Central Ambulance Service.

Crews were at the scene for approximately one hour and 40 minutes.
