Road traffic collision in Reading

At 7:59pm on Tuesday, 13 December, we were called by Thames Valley Police to reports of a road traffic collision on Hartland Road, Reading.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham Road and Whitley Wood fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside one RBFRS Officer.

Upon arrival, crews found a road traffic collision involving two vehicles.  Unfortunately, one person was trapped inside one of the vehicles.

Crews worked to release the person trapped inside the vehicle, before placing them into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.

Crews made then the scene safe, handed the incident over to Thames Valley Police, and were on the scene for approximately 51 minutes.
