At 6:13pm on Tuesday, 14 April, we received a call from Thames Valley Police to reports of a road traffic collision on Oxford Road in Reading.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Caversham Road, Theale and Whitley Wood fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside the Heavy Rescue Unit from Theale Community Fire Station.
Upon arrival, crews found a collision involving one car on its roof with one person trapped. Crews safely rescued the person from the vehicle, before giving them immediate emergency care and assisting Thames Valley Police with scene safety.
Crews were on scene for approximately 42 minutes.
