At 6:21pm on Tuesday, 8 September, we received a call from South Central Ambulance Service to reports of a road traffic collision on Goring Lane in Reading.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Whitley Wood and Caversham Road fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside one Officer.

Upon arrival, crews found a collision involving two vehicles with one person medically trapped. Crews rescued the person from the vehicle, before placing them in the care of South Central Ambulance Service and making the scene safe.

They were on scene for approximately 53 minutes.
