Road traffic collision in Reading

At 10:54am on Tuesday, 6 December, we were called by South Central Ambulance Service to reports of a road traffic collision on Church Street, Reading.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham Road, Wokingham, and Theale fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside one RBFRS Officer.

Upon arrival, crews found a collision involving six cars and a van. Fortunately, no one was trapped but there were five casualties. Crews provided Immediate Emergency Care (IEC) to the casualties and placed one person into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.

Crews made the scene safe and were on the scene for approximately two hours.
