At 6:46pm on Tuesday, 13 October, we received reports of a road traffic collision on the Colnbrook By-Pass in Slough.

Two Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Slough Fire Station were sent to the scene, alongside one Officer and one Officer from Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service.

Upon arrival, crews found a collision involving a car stuck under a lorry. Crews assisted South Central Ambulance Service in giving immediate emergency care to one person, who tragically passed away at the scene. Our thoughts remain with their friends and family at this incredibly difficult time. The scene was then handed over to Thames Valley Police.

Crews were on scene for approximately one hour and 45 minutes.
