At 2:50pm on Sunday, 4 February, we received reports of a road traffic collision on Ashampstead Road in Upper Basildon.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Caversham Road and Theale fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a collision involving two vehicles. Firefighters rescued one person from one of the vehicles before placing them in the care of South Central Ambulance Service,
Crews were at the scene for approximately one hour and 47 minutes.
