At 9:37pm on Thursday, 29 May, we received a call from South Central Ambulance Service to reports of a road traffic collision on Woodlands Avenue in Woodley.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham Road and Caversham Road fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews found a road traffic collision involving one car with one person trapped. Firefighters rescued the person from the vehicle and placed them in the care of South Central Ambulance Service, before handing the scene over to Thames Valley Police.
They were on scene for approximately 39 minutes.
