At 11:47pm on Saturday, 8 August, we received reports of a road traffic collision on Drift Road near Maidenhead.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Bracknell and Windsor fire stations were sent to the scene.

On arrival, crews discovered a collision involving two vehicles and a tree. Firefighters rescued one person from one of the vehicles before placing them in the care of South Central Ambulance Service.

Crews were at the scene for approximately one hour and 30 minutes.
