At 7:05pm on Friday, 9 February, we received reports of a road traffic collision on Baydon Road near Wickham Heath.
Two Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Newbury Fire Station were sent to the scene of the incident.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a collision involving two cars. Firefighters rescued one person from one of the vehicles before placing them in the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
Crews were at the scene for approximately one hour and 35 minutes.
