At 2:21pm on Wednesday, 30 September, we received a call from South Central Ambulance Service to reports of a road traffic collision on the A329M southbound between Winnersh and Coppid Beech.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham Road, Wokingham and Whitley Wood fire stations were sent to the scene.

Upon arrival, crews found a collision involving one van. Crews rescued one person from the vehicle, before placing them into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.

Crews were on scene for approximately 36 minutes.
