At 3:50pm on Saturday, 4 April, we received reports of a road traffic collision at Membury Services on the eastbound carriageway of the M4.
Two Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Newbury Fire Station were sent to the scene alongside a crew from Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a collision involving one vehicle. Crews made the scene safe and used absorbent granules to clear a small amount of engine oil from the road. Three people were taken into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
Crews were at the scene for approximately 45 minutes before handing over to Thames Valley Police.
