At 8:19am on Wednesday, 8 July, we received reports of a road traffic collision on the M4 eastbound between Junction 6 in Slough and Junction 5 in Langley.

Two Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Slough Fire Station and one crew from Langley Fire Station were sent to the scene, alongside one Officer.

Upon arrival, crews found a collision involving two cars. Crews rescued one person from a vehicle, before placing them in the care of South Central Ambulance Service.

Crews were on scene for approximately one hour.
