At 8:08am on Wednesday, 2 September, we received reports of a road traffic collision on the M4 eastbound between Junction 5 in Langley and Junction 4B in Thorney.

One Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Langley Fire Station and two crews from Slough Fire Station were sent to the scene.

Upon arrival, crews found a collision involving three cars. Crews gave two people immediate emergency care before placing them in the care of South Central Ambulance Service.

They were on scene for approximately one hour and 24 minutes.
