At 1:51am on Friday, 18 September, we received a call from Thames Valley Police to reports of a vehicle fire at Membury Services on the M4 eastbound.

One Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Hungerford Community Fire Station was sent to the scene.

Upon arrival, the crew found a road traffic collision involving one car. The crew made the scene safe, before handing the scene over to Thames Valley Police.

The crew were on scene for approximately 32 minutes.
