Road Traffic Collision on M4(E)

At 2:28pm on Sunday, 11 May, we received a call from South Central Ambulance Service to reports of a road traffic collision on the M4 Eastbound on the Junction 10 exit slip road of the A329M between Three Mile Cross and Winnersh.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Whitley Wood, Theale, Ascot and Bracknell fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside one Officer.

Upon arrival, crews found a road traffic collision involving one minibus on its side, with two people trapped. Approximately 19 people were injured, receiving immediate emergency care from firefighters and South Central Ambulance Service. Unfortunately, one person died at the scene. Our thoughts are with their family and friends at this extremely difficult time.

The scene was handed over to Thames Valley Police.

Our crews were on scene for approximately two hours and 37 minutes.
