At 5:09pm on Tuesday, 26 May, we received reports of a road traffic collision on the M4 westbound between Junction 9 in Holyport and Junction 10 in Winnersh.

One Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Maidenhead Fire Station and two crew from Slough Fire Station were sent to the scene, alongside one Officer.

Upon arrival, crews found a collision involving one car on its roof, with one person trapped. Crews rescued the person from the vehicle, before placing them in the care of South Central Ambulance Service.

Crews were on scene for approximately 40 minutes.
