At 4:41pm on Tuesday, 16 June, we received reports of a road traffic collision on the westbound carriageway of the M4 between junctions 10 and 11.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham Road, Wokingham, Bracknell and Whitley Wood fire stations were sent to the scene.

On arrival, crews discovered a collision involving three cars with one of them flipped on its side. Firefighters rescued one person from the flipped car before placing them in the care of South Central Ambulance Service.

Crews were at the scene for approximately 50 minutes.
