At 12:37am on Saturday, 22 August, we received reports of a vehicle fire at Junction 14 on the M4.

Two Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Newbury Fire Station were sent to the scene.

On arrival, crews discovered that there had been a collision involving one vehicle but no fire. Firefighters worked with National Highways to make the scene safe.

Crews were at the scene for approximately seven minutes.
