At 1:25pm on Friday, 8 March, we received reports of a road traffic collision on the eastbound carriageway of the M4 between junction 10 and junction 8/9.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham, Bracknell, Whitley Wood and Theale fire stations were sent to the scene alongside two officers.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a collision between a lorry and a car. Firefighters provided immediate emergency care to two people and secured the scene before handing over to Thames Valley Police.
Crews were at the scene for approximately one hour and nine minutes.
