At 3:53pm on Thursday, 9 April, we received reports of a road traffic collision on the eastbound carriageway of the M4 between Junctions 12 (Theale) and 13 (Chieveley).
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Newbury and Whitley Wood fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a collision involving one vehicle. Firefighters provide immediate emergency care to one person before placing them in the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
Crews were at the scene for approximately 25 minutes before handing over to Thames Valley Police.
