At 8:15am on Wednesday, 8 November, we received a call to reports of a road traffic collision on Basingstoke Road, Swallowfield.
Crews from Caversham Road, Wokingham Road, Whitley Wood and Theale Fire Stations were sent to the scene, alongside an Officer.
Upon arrival, firefighters found a collision involving a car and heavy goods vehicle. Firefighters rescued a woman from the car and placed her in the care of South Central Ambulance Service before making the scene safe.
Crews were on the scene for over an hour.
