At 10:57pm on Friday, 7 August, we received reports of a fire on Hatchet Lane in Winkfield.

A Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Ascot Fire Station was sent to the scene.

On arrival, the crew discovered a fire in a garden shed. Firefighters used two hose reels and one main jet to extinguish the fire.

Firefighters were at the scene for approximately one hour and 50 minutes before returning the following morning to check for hotspots.
