At 4:08pm on Monday, 10 August, we received reports of a fire on Goodings Green in Wokingham.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham Road and Bracknell fire stations were sent to the scene alongside an Officer.

On arrival, crews discovered a fire in a shed that had spread to the surrounding gardens. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire before using thermal imaging cameras to check for hotspots.

Crews were at the scene for approximately one hour and 30 minutes. Later on, a crew from Wokingham Fire Station returned to the scene to check for hotspots.
