At 4:42am on Thursday, 2 July, we received reports of a fire on Brunel Road in Reading.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Caversham Road and Theale fire stations were sent to the scene.

Upon arrival, crews found a shed on fire that was spreading to the surrounding allotments. Firefighters used one hose reel to put out the fire and dampen down the surrounding area.

They were on scene for approximately one hour and 37 minutes.
