At 10:03am on Friday, 5 January, we received reports of we received reports of an incident near Ferry Lane in Pangbourne.
A Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Theale Community Fire Station and an Officer were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a boat had broken free of its moorings. Crews used chains to prevent the boat from moving downstream and secured it in place.
Crews were at the scene for approximately 24 minutes.
