At 9:58pm on Thursday, 27 July, we received reports of a vehicle fire on Scott Close in Reading.
A Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Caversham Road Fire Station was sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a parked car on fire. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire with a hose reel jet.
The crew was on the scene for approximately 30 minutes.
