At 6:13pm on Friday, 17 July, we received reports of a vehicle on fire on Curridge Green in Thatcham.

Two Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Newbury Fire Station were sent to the scene.

Upon arrival, crews found a telehandler on fire in a field. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reels and foam to put out the fire and make the scene safe.

They were on scene for approximately one hour and 36 minutes.
